Gallery Wall

A gallery wall for the girl who doesn’t want to put up baby pictures. I did that so many years ago. Those babies are 18 and 20 now. They are still cute, I just don’t need to document every moment anymore. This wall is just to make me smile, and it does.  ðŸ™‚

I love this so much!! I have added so much color to this little spot in the living room. It came out just how I pictured it

I have been wanting to do a gallery wall for a while. I have seen so many on blogs. I have seen photos, paintings, plates, so many different options. I really wanted to add some color to this corner. I liked the idea that the frames were the art. I had gotten this book of scrap book paper last summer, for  another project. I love the subtle color on color patterns.

All the frames were bought at thrift stores. The paper came from a big scrapbook pack.

A few of these frames I had, the others I got at a thrift store. I got 8 frames for $5. The paper book was about $6, if I remember right. I always use a coupon. They have them every week, why not?

I have had the tray for years, it has been a few different colors. I really love this blue right now.

I painted this bookcase for Puente’s old apartment. I added the punched screen to the back. It is a cute spot for decorating  and cook books.

I spray painted all the frames with gloss paint. I really like the shine. I used only one can, add another  $3.50 to the total.

These little bottles were also thrifted, I love the color. I have seen “new” bottles go for $7 to $30, I got both of mine for $1 each. The green pot is also from a thrift store. I have 3 or 4 of them, they are containers for Edible Arrangements. I paid just 50 cents to a dollar each. I will buy them every time I see one. I love this kiwi green, its a great accent color.

I had a couple of frames that didn’t have “hangers ” for the back, I just tucked them in the bookcase. A little bit of color added to that dark space in the back.

I want to paint the chair a different color. I love the black, but this maybe too much black on black.

So pretty. Love it.

I love how much color is added to this little corner. It makes me happy 🙂

I hope that’s not too many photos for you. I am just so excited about this little corner. I was too happy when it was done. I sometimes come in the room, and just look at those frames. Crazy? Yes, maybe a little.
