Plants on the move

I showed you the front porch a while back. I love blue, and blue flowers. The flowers were new and fresh. So full and pretty. The furniture is painted blue. My favorite color blue at the moment, turquoise. Galvanized metal buckets, and a small pop of yellow from the little pot. Looked great!

Well, as it goes with flowers- sometimes they die. Or get overgrown and “leggy” as these pansy’s did.

They are still pretty flowers. And not dead for sure, just not as fresh looking.

So, the plants had to move to the back porch. They picked up a stone frog friend a long the way. And a hanging plant with red and yellow flowers that didn’t have a home.

I have friends that would have just thrown these flowers away. Sure, not the best looking flowers. But the flowers that are blooming are still pretty. The pots are clustered together tight, looking “full” as a group. Nice fun colors by the back door.

And thats what you need by your trash, compost, and recycling cans right? Some pretty flowers to make a necessary area of your yard a little bit pretty.

What do you think? Throw the flowers in the trash or compost cans? OR have them next to the cans to make it a little bit pretty?
