Patio Sitting Area

Good Afternoon!

I have been showing bits and pieces of the back yard before the summer is over.

I decorated the Patio months ago, and we have been enjoying it so much this summer.

It is bright and colorful, and most of all comfortable.

Today I am showing the sitting area. This is where I go to most when I am on the patio.

It is where I sit and have a drink and watch the puppies play in the yard.

I love the ease of these resin wicker chairs. I got them at Target years ago. They sat on my front porch of my old house and have been in this corner of the patio since we moved in.

The black with white scroll pattern cushions covers were made by a friend. I was working to get the old house ready to sell, and she offered to help with any projects I needed. She has awesome sewing skills so I took her up on her offer. Thanks Rita!

The blue metal table is from Ikea. I have two of them, one I bought new from Ikea. And the second I bought at a thrift store. This year I painted both of them this beautiful teal blue color.

Under the table is my handsome stoic Gnome. He came from Target, and was on clearance of course. I love his face. Next to him is a blue glazed pot full of Marigolds, sitting in china plate used as a saucer.

This table scape is a simple one. A couple of plants in metal buckets, another china plate used as a saucer, and a mosaic candle holder.

Look at those colors and textures! I love it.

This lovely green plant is a ground cover, that can be planted in walkways so you can step on it. I love the tiny leaves on the trailing vines.

Warm and inviting, don’t you think?

When the weather starts to turn cool, we will use the fire pit. We have only had one fire this year. This summer has been too hot, humid, and wet for a fire.

Well there you have it, another look at our pretty back yard decorated on a budget. Using things I already had.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon.
