Late Summer Front Porch

Hi There!

I am always changing the front porch decor.
I have neighbors who have told me that they are always waiting to see what I change up.
Here is the last look I came up with.
Summer Project #4- Late Summer Front Porch
My color story this time includes blue, purple, and silver or gray.
I started with the Flamingos that were living on the back patio. And a silver painted barrel I got at an estate sale for $3. With a few small odds and ends in the colors I wanted.

A couple of cheese boxes that I painted are used for height. I get these boxes from work when they are damaged. I am not putting anything inside of them, so I don’t mind the defects.
With a stool I have had forever, painted blue of course. I need something like this- to put bags on as I open the front door.
A “new to me” serving tray I got at a thrift store for $2, the perfect shade of turquoise.
With a rusted metal bucket full of flowers and an aluminum pitcher for the ivy plant.
I love the pretty flowers in the old rusted bucket, on top of the shiny silver blue painted cheese box. A mix of textures that I just love.
I use these Ikea galvanized metal lanterns over and over again on the front porch. I love the metal, and I love their size and shape.
The little blue buckets have citronella candles in them. The purple fruit baskets are ceramic, I am never sure how to use them. So I often just have them out to add color.
I can’t believe how big this ivy plant has gotten! It is still in the plastic pot it came in, I just keep putting it in different containers when I change the porch. I used this aluminum pitcher to give it height. I have two of these pitchers, I love their hammer metal look.

I have always loved plastic Flamingos! When I was a teenager I had one that sat in the back seat of my car. Her name was Fran. I have not named these guys yet. Any suggestions?

I really enjoy changing up the porch. Mixing items over and over again to get new looks.

What do you think?
Cute? Tacky? Awesome?
