It looked like the Circus came to town

I have been painting. Painting just about everything. Chairs, tables, pots, frames, benches, and stools. I love to paint. I love the smell. I love the ease of it. I love spray paint. I love to brush paint on. I love to roll it on a wall. I love to paint. Paint, I am a huge fan.

This was the scene in our back yard a couple of Saturdays ago. So many colors! I love it! Each chair got a different color of spray paint. These chairs are for the dining room. But this view looked like the Circus had come to town. It made me laugh, I thought I would share.

This chair had been black. You may remember it from the Gallery Wall posting. Now it is a fun green, love it!

I found this windsor chair by the side of the road. I love free, my favorite price. I used to own a set of six of these chairs. Nothing special, basic chair. Now it is a bright Sunflower yellow. I love it so much.

This chair is from Puente’s former life. We had four of them, sold three to a friend. We knew we were going for a collected set of chairs for our new life together. He chose the red. There is that color again. Red. It’s bright and happy.

This little stool I have had for years. There was this retired teacher I knew who made furniture out of pine, and sold it at our local farmers market. The nicest man I have ever known. He was so sweet to the kids when they were small. Both of them have bookcases, and benches he made.
 I miss you Mr. Jewett.

The orange chair here is an Ikea. But I found it at a thrift store, $8 I think. I have spent more on spray paint for it. It is going to the dining room as well.

I love this photo. It’s like one of those art photos you but at the Art Fair. The bright colors in front of the aged wood fence. Can you see it? Black frame, white mat. I just might do that.

Here is Puente’s chair without the paper covering the seat. I think it looks awesome.
What do you think? Too bold? Do you have something you want to paint?
Can I help?
