Fire Pit Area of the Patio

Okay here we go, on to the third corner of the Patio. Again, I want to say, things are not complete. I still have a few projects to finish up. Some things to paint, others to sew. But sneak peeks are fun, don’t you think?

The back corner sitting area around the fire pit. Great chairs, lovely cushions. Where is the color?

I spray painted the Ikea table turquoise. A nice pop of color there. Flowers under the table and to the side of the chair. A galvanized box to hold sticks for the fire pit. I love me some metal accents. And of course the garden has started to fill out and bloom. Lush and green.
We also moved the orange umbrella here. The wood pole looks great with the wicker chairs. Oh boy, that umbrella has been a handful this year. When I went to take it out of the dining table, it got stuck. We had to use a mallet the hit the table top off the pole. Then after I painted the table, it wouldn’t fit back in. Off to Lowe’s I went, came back with the stripe umbrella for the dining table, and a new stand for the orange umbrella. I love having two umbrellas, it makes the space feel cozy.

I love this black and white swirl fabric. I still have a few yards of it left over. I almost went with a Black and White theme for the Patio. I was going to use up that fabric and go kind of modern-tradional for the feel of the Patio. I am so happy with where it is going now. I will use that fabric someday. The right project will come along, I know it.

More blue stone pots filled with pink and orange flowers. And a little smiling guy.

I have had this guy since my Boy was small. He is from Target, a kids watering can. He makes me smile. Maybe because he is smiling? Anyway, I love the little pop of color he gives under the table.
We love sitting back here. The fire going, meat on the grill, Puente playing guitar, and me on my laptop. So relaxing, so cute.
Where do you relax?
