Hi There!
Sometimes the best way to start is to jump in…
I am giving you a look at my Front Porch decorated for different seasons.
Here I have a early Fall Porch look for you to see.
For the Early Fall Porch I went with a yellow and green color story, with lots of texture.
This is an Ivy plant I got at Lowes. It is meant as ground cover, I placed it in a metal pot, and watched it grow.
I love this Swan planter. My boyfriend got her for me, it is a long story- but let me just say that he stole her from a house that had had a house fire. She was abandoned in the yard and looked sad, so he brought her home for me to love.
I stacked wicker picnic baskets on the left with, plain and painted cheese boxes on the right as the base of the vignette. A double metal bucket for the Rosemary plants, and a tree stump for the Swan to sit on. A homemade tool box from a garage sale has some Marigolds, and a old metal star and a lemon plate for more color and texture.
I love all of the yellow tones of the baskets, boxes, and wood. It is a nice contrast to the green of the middle basket and all of the plants- that Fern was Amazing!
Another picnic basket, mixed with more silver gray metals. Another small bucket, a tray, and an aluminum plate in the back.
I have had this wicker table for years! I pulled it out of a neighbors trash. Your trash, my free table! I have painted it many colors- blue, purple, white, black, and gray. This last time I painted it with my favorite Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint. It is the perfect black brown color with a bit of sparkle. On top I placed some garage sale cutting boards, a metal lantern, a succulent in a chip wood basket, and a yellow ceramic Owl. So- many beautiful colors and textures!
On the side of the stairs is two stacked painted stools, with a galvanized watering can placed on top. A pretty green leafy Hosta plant in a chip wood basket, stacked on a turned upside down basket for height.
I love how all of these colors pop against the brown of our little rental house.
I think it looks so pretty and perfect for Fall!
Do you like all of the yellow?
How about the mix of wood and wicker?
I would love to know what you think.
Thanks for stopping by!
