Another Fun Fall Front Porch

Good day, I am so glad you have stopped by!

Here is another look at the Front Porch decorated for Fall.

I used lots of Yellow and Green, with a ton of texture!

When you have many more gray days than sunny, it is fun to add color to the front of the house. Such is the life, here in Michigan.

I stacked some thrifted picnic baskets next to a wicker table for the base of this vignette. I put Mums in a apple basket and a galvanized metal tub. Even in the fall, you need plants on your porch.

The candles and the chalkboard add some extra interest. The greens from the tool box tie in with the basket and the green leaves of the Mums.

Wood, wicker, and metal- these are a few of my favorite things!

The candle sticks are the same deep red the Mums were…if you closely you can still see a couple left.

I love this doll house. I got it at a garage sale for $2. My boyfriend calls it the “Money Pit Doll house”. Because it keeps falling apart. The front porch came off, and the stairs inside have fallen down too. But I love it all the same. One day I will fix her up and make her beyond beautiful. For now, she is still pretty cute!

Do you need a dollhouse on the porch? No, but she looks cute here on this trunk. When I found this metal steam trunk, it was covered in burgundy paint. It was terrible! I was able to get it for $20 at a garage sale. It took most of the summer to strip it down to the bare metal. I spent way more than $20 on paint stripper, but it was worth it! I love the gold color, with all of the metal details.

I just love decorating my porch. In an hour I can completely transform the look, and feel of the house. I can celebrate a holiday, or a season.

Its so fun!

What do you think? Cute? Too much?

Do you change out your Porch decor?
