Plants, Flowers, and More! Oh, my…

Hello.

I have been having a hard time lately, but there has been a small amount of sunshine through the clouds. We will wait and see what is to come. It is exciting to have hope again. Maybe this is the start of the big change I have envisioned for myself.

Todays post is a collection of photos of all of the pretty flowers, plants and accessories I have used on the Back yard Patio this Summer. Small pretty snippets of Summer, what could be better?

Pink and blue flowers with lots of green leaves. Bright and colorful just as Summer flowers should be. The wood stump came from a neighbor’s yard when they had a tree taken down. All of the bark has been peeled off, and it has weathered outside for two summers. I love the rustic element it brings to the Patio, and the height for the flower pot.

I love trailing Petunias. They get so full, and these are too pretty in Pink! Potted in a blue glazed pot sitting on an old dinner plate for a saucer.

Pretty blue Viola’s, a hot pink Geranium, and light pink Verbena. In bright blue and citrus green planters. I love the combination of these colors! You can also get a closer look at that wood stump, I love it. Look at the rings on the top.

DIY Mexican painted pottery, and a Modern cube table. Two projects I worked on and love the results. The mix of metals, painted pottery, and glazed pottery adds some nice texture to the Patio.

I am in love with this little Owl. I love the color, and of course his little face!

I can’t get enough candle lanterns. I have a few too many, maybe. This little purple one is too cute! He is sitting on top of a purple ceramic berry pot turned upside down for height. The purple is a nice additional color to the blue, pinks, and greens.

Here is another candle lantern. I got this one for free at work. We had a “free” table that anyone could put things on, or take things off to take home. This lantern was an off white color, with sea shells and sand in it. All of that had to go, so out came the gray hammered spray paint. I love it now! It went from beachy to classic with two coats of paint.

A bright turquoise pot with a succulent in it, flowering of course. And a mini Gnome stake.

Another candle lantern, another purple berry pot, and a baby blue Lobelia plant in a vintage green pedestal pot.

Light pink Verbena plant in a blue glazed pot.

A closer look at the Violas and another little Owl, this one is bright yellow.

Red, yellow, and white Zinnias in an aged galvanized bucket, oh how I love that look!

A candle lantern from Ikea. I have used this one over and over again. I have another one this size and one larger. Love that galvanized metal.

A Lavender plant in a blue glazed pot, on a vintage plate as a saucer, and a little yellow Lemon plate that I think may be a soap dish. All on top of a bright teal table.

Hot pink Geranium in a citrus green pot, a green music candle holder, and Mason jars for glasses with straws. All on top of a bright blue with sunflower print tray. I love this tray, I used it for many years at my old house. I used it in the half bath on top of a little cabinet to hold pretty towels and things.

More glazed blue pots, and plates as saucers. With Geranium flowers in pink and purple.

Look how pretty

One last photo of a Marigold in a blue glazed pot, in a plate as a saucer. And my little stoic Gnome.

There you have it, one last look at Summer. Lots of flowers, candle holders, and blue glazed pots. Use the items you love, and you will always be happy with the results.

Thanks for stopping by!
