Hi There!
I have been working on the patio for what seems like forever. and I am not done. Still a few projects that I need to finish. Sewing projects, I love them and hate them. I really need to be motivated to work on them. I just have not been feeling it lately. Anyway, I want to show where we are in one of the little corners. More to come later, but here is a peek.
Here is the before. Furniture and that is about it. It was a start.
It is amazing how cute and comfortable flowers can make a space. Color is the theme for the patio. Lots of bright colors. I painted the chairs my favorite spring green. I pulled them from a neighbors garbage. I love free stuff. They just needed some paint and some love. I am making cushions for them.
The tall shelf I found at a thrift store for $8. It is from Ikea, and seems brand new. Oh Yes, please. I will take it!
Here is the green owl, the brother to the yellow one on the front porch. The blue bucket is a citronella candle, I got thrifting for 50 cents. I love a good deal.
Here is the coffee table I painted. And the little red-orange tray. Lots of color. The yellow/ green pot I painted like the other DIY pottery. It is not as pretty as the others, but still cute. The purple stand is a pot I pulled out of someone’s garbage ( I see a trend ) and spray painted. It has a crack, but up-side down its great as a stand.
So cute, so pretty. So inviting. The bird tray came from a garage sale, $1 I think. The glass multi-point star is a candle holder I got at a garage sale. It’s broken, I think it was supposed to be hung. I think it is pretty as is. I have had it for years.
Here is my DIY painted pottery. Don’t you love all the colors? So happy!
Here is the other chair. And an Ikea table painted yellow. A metal plate, a glass candle holder and succulents in more glass containers. All of them came from thrift stores. Nothing more than a dollar. You can have cute, nice things. For not much money. You just have to look.
I still need to work on the white metal love-seat. Cushions to be made. Paint the wood board for the seat. It’s getting close. Just need to get motivated.
