I have always loved the color blue. I can remember being in the third grade and wanting to have a denim blue wedding dress. I just love that color. Washed and faded denim. I love cobalt blue too. At my old house, I had painted the living room cobalt. I had cobalt blue counter tops in the kitchen. I drove a blue Beetle for 15 years.
Here is my front porch. Blue stools, blue chair, blue table, and blue flowers.
I have had this stool forever. It has been white, black, green and now blue. The chair I found as is, at a thrift store. The blue is so perfect. You would think I had picked the color. And purple-blue pansy flowers in a metal bucket.
I have 8 of these buckets. I got them at the dollar spot at Target a few years ago. I use them every summer for flowers outside.
Another stool and a table I pulled out of someone’s garbage. It was a natural stain, with hunter green accents. I have painted a few times as well. I can remember it being light green, purple, dark blue, black and now blue again
More metal buckets. More blue and purple flowers.
I just love this little yellow owl pot. I looked at him and his green brother ( they came in a set ) for months. I waited for the “right” sale- 60% off.
I love these little light blue flowers. They are so sweet and pretty.
I painted the address sign. I got an old wood piece of art for $2 at a thrift store. I sanded and painted it, and added the numbers from Lowes. I then painted the numbers, and hung it right over the original house numbers. It can come with us when we move. Or for under $8 for the whole project, I can leave it.
Every space needs a little something from Ikea. Candle holder and candles. The set of stone birds, I have had for years. Love them.
This little guy? What can I say? I love him.
It sure is a lot of blue for one spot. My favorite color, as always.
