HI There!
We are renting our little house. It’s cute and we love it here.
And as with most rentals, sometimes the tenants before you will leave a few things behind.
Here is a quick make over of a little something that was behind the garage in the mud.
Do you have one of these?
They are pretty cheap, and can be assembled and dismantled easily.
I see them at garage sales often.
This one was behind the garage in the mud.
You can see the mud in the corner brackets. I hate those brackets.
They make they wire shelf look cheap. Which I know it is.
Well, I got an idea…
What if I zip-tie all of the sides together and make a cube?
That could look cool, right?
I tried to use 3 zip-ties on each side to make sure the cube would be sturdy.
Here he is with all of the ties trimmed.
I kind of like it! Very modern, and yet could be vintage. I love that!
I had enough of the wire grids to make two cubes.
This was so quick, and only cost me the price of the zip-ties, around $8 for 100 ties at Lowes.
I choose black zip-ties to match the wire grids, but I may paint the whole thing dark gray.
Not sure yet…
It’s great for a plant stand, or a small table to hold a drink and a vase of flowers.
What do you think?
Quick, easy, and didn’t cost me too much money.
I love a good makeover.
Thanks for stopping by!
