Flowers from Succulents?

I know I said I was done with the plant postings for a while. And I really was, then I was watering the plants on the patio and I saw these. No flowers yet, but we have buds on the succulents! So awesome.Isn't that cool? It almost looks like a creature from Dr Suess. I can't wait for the buds to open. It looks like maybe the flowers will be yellow or white.There is a bug hanging out on the stalk...
