It’s Week Six- the Final Reveal Week for the One Room Challenge.
If this is your first time here- Welcome! My name is Jackie, I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of woman- who love Tacos, thrifting, a good DIY/ Craft, my family, and my Puppies. Of course, not necessarily in that order. This has been the second time that I have participated as a Guest in the One Room Challenge.
WHAT IS THE ONE ROOM CHALLENGE?
The One Room Challenge happens twice a year- every April and October. It is hosted by Linda of Calling it Home and the media partner Better Homes Gardens. How cool is that? I have been reading BHG since the early ’90s. The One Room Challenge features 20 designers and has a special link up for the 200+ Guest participants just like me!
Where am I at with my ORC?
Let’s be honest- I am nowhere near the end of my One Room Challenge makeover. And I have been trying to decide if I should just drop out completely- or put on my big girl pants and just show what I have.

Hi Jackie. This looks great!…and looks quite finished to me. I love the varied textures you used in the space and the juxtaposition of that chair, the tv unit, and the window. Be proud, you did an awesome job because it was indeed a very intense challenge…glad it’s over.
