As with most things in my life I had this crazy idea…
Well, it’s not that crazy really. As I have talked about before- I love Instagram! On that little photo app I have met some wonderful and inspiring women that I call friends. Many of which have blogs of their own that they’re trying to build. So, I thought why don’t I invite a couple of them to join me in a link up of sorts to build each other’s blogs up! Bloggers do this all the time- and why couldn’t I? How hard could it be? (Often what I ask myself when starting any new project.)
Who should I ask to join me? I quickly came up with 3 names and they all said “yes” pretty quickly. Maybe my idea was just crazy enough to get them on board! Or maybe I just attract crazy? Either way, I am so happy to have each of them on this blogging journey with me. Are you ready to meet them?
Sweet Southern Oaks
Meet Ashlee of Sweet Southern Oaks
Ashlee and I have been friends for a couple of years now. She is a super sweet southern gal, Military wife, Rae Dunn collector, and lover of all things Farmhouse decor. Her style is so approachable and cozy. Ashlee is a crafter that loves to throw a good party. She loves her family and friends fiercely. Ashlee loves her pets even more so- if you can believe that! Those fur-babies are so lucky to have her as their Mom. I am so honored that she was the first to agree to join my little project.

Moda.Misfit
Meet Steffi of Moda.Misfit
I met Steffi a while back when she played a hashtag game that I was hosting with a couple of other ladies I met on Instagram. And I immediately fell in love with her! Steffi is the cool girl that I wanted to be in my 20’s. Her Instagram feed is a beautiful tight color palette of browns, golds, grays, whites, and blacks- that just screams cool. Steffi is a beautiful writer and has the skill and talent to tell a wonderful story. She has even started her own hashtag #interiorfairytale to share her love of story and interior decor

Steffi lives in a Studio Apartment in Seattle- see I told you she’s cool! She has done an amazing job of making her small space seem large with style! Check out her apartment here- My Studio
Steffi is inspired by and writes about fashion and music on her blog. In one such post, she wrote about how to Rock Your Cool Girl Style at Work Without Breaking the Dress Code Rules. Be sure and check it out.
Steffi has written a couple of e-books about design.
Steffi has a great way of showing that even though she’s in a small rental space, 400 square feet- she will go big with style that she can take with her.

Living With Liz
Meet Liz of Living with Liz
I started following Liz because I saw a photo of her two super cute puppies! She was new to Instagram and I like to support new accounts. But since then she has become a good friend that I have gotten to know better while watching her style evolve. Liz has been a renter in the past and knows how to give a room style while making it easy to remove and bring with her. Neutral renters decor doesn’t scare her as she knows how to give a pop of color and style. She loves a good book, a good cup of coffee, Owls, and is a self proclaimed Pinterest addict. Just before the start of this journey Liz, her pups and her husband made the move from Nevada to upstate New York. I am really looking forward to seeing how Liz and her husband find and make a new house their new home.

1 Crazy Idea and 4 Instagram Friends
Well, that’s Us. 4 Instagram Friends going on a blogging journey together!
I am so excited and honored that these sweet ladies have each agreed to come on this journey with me. We are going to start posting group projects every two weeks with a common simple theme. This will give you the reader a chance to see how 4 bloggers take on a project in their own style.
I gave us the crazy name “Sweet Moda Blog Project”- a kind of mix-tape of all of our names. This crazy SMB project will have its first group project in two weeks on March 15th, 2019. We’re are all going to show you how we would all style a plain glass jar. One jar- 4 Friends. See you soon!
I love this idea! You’re so creative so I can’t wait to see what you create but I can’t wait to see what your friends create too since your styles are all so unique.
Thanks Corrina. You have been an inspiration to me for sure and I appreciate your support. Love you!
